<strong>Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative (CSTI)<\/strong> coordinated a series of beach clean-up activities across Cyprus in collaboration with hotel partners and with the active participation of students, teachers, employees, tourists and volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The clean-up activities took place in Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca, Ayia Napa and Protaras, aiming to raise environmental awareness and encourage collective responsibility for protecting Cyprus&#8217; coastlines. The initiative sought to create a cleaner and healthier coastal environment while promoting community engagement in sustainability and the conservation of the island&#8217;s natural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Overall, more than <strong>390 volunteers and participants<\/strong> took part in the clean-ups, removing approximately <strong>900 kilograms of waste<\/strong> from Cyprus&#8217; beaches, including significant quantities of plastic waste.
