Silver Award for the “Keep Our Sand and Sea Plastic Free: Destination Zero Plastic in Cyprus” Project
We are proud to announce that the TUI Care Foundation has won the Silver Award for this impactful initiative under the category:
“Reducing Plastic Waste in the Environment”
in the “Rest of the World” region.
The award was presented to Thomas Ellerbeck, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the TUI Care Foundation.
Representing the project’s implementing partners at the ceremony were:
- Philippos Drousiotis, on behalf of the Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative (CSTI), and
- Katie James, on behalf of the Travel Foundation.
The project’s success was further supported by the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Tourism, represented by Vakis Loizides.
We are immensely proud of this prestigious and meaningful project, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable future for Cyprus!
