Today, we’re celebrating World Refill Day with an exciting week-long competition! Join us in making a positive impact on the environment by visiting one of Cyprus’ beautiful plastic-free beaches. 

📸 How to Enter: 

  1. Visit a Plastic Free Beach in Cyprus. 
  1. Refill your reusable water bottle at our water stations. 
  1. Take a photo while refilling. 
  1. Post the photo on social media with the hashtag #RefillvsPlastic.

World Refill Day Competition Terms and Conditions 

  1. Competition Organizer: The competition is organized by “Keep our Sand and Sea Plastic Free” Project. 
  1. Eligibility: The competition is open to people aged 18 and over. Employees of the “Keep our Sand and Sea Plastic Free” Project are not eligible to enter. 
  1. Competition Period: The competition runs from 16/06/2024 to 24/06/2024. Entries submitted after the closing date will not be considered. 
  1. How to Enter: 
  • Visit a Plastic Free Beach in Cyprus. 
  • Refill your reusable water bottle at designated water stations. 
  • Take a photo while refilling. 
  • Post the photo on social media (Facebook or Instagram) with the hashtag #RefillvsPlastic.  
  • Ensure your social media account is set to public for the duration of the competition. 
  1. Entry Requirements: 
  • The photo must clearly show the participant refilling their water bottle at a designated water station on a Plastic Free Beach in Cyprus. 
  • The hashtag #RefillvsPlastic must be included in the post. 
  1. Prize: The prize is a luxurious Bed & Breakfast stay for two at the Atlantica Sancta Napa Hotel. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. 
  1. Winner Selection: The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. The selection will be conducted within 2 days of the competition closing date. 
  1. Winner Notification: 
  • The winner will be notified via direct message on the social media platform used for their entry. 
  • The winner must respond within 48 hours to claim their prize. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner. 
  1. Prize Redemption: 
  • The winner is responsible for any travel arrangements and additional expenses incurred during their stay. 
  1. Usage Rights: 
  1. By entering the competition, participants grant  “Keep our Sand and Sea Plastic Free” Project and Atlantica Sancta Napa Hotel the right to use their submitted photos for promotional purposes. 
  1. Liability: “Keep our Sand and Sea Plastic Free” Project and Atlantica Sancta Napa Hotel are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize. 
  1. Privacy: Personal data provided during the competition will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and will be handled in accordance with “Keep our Sand and Sea Plastic Free” Project’s privacy policy. 
  1. Modifications: “Keep our Sand and Sea Plastic Free” Project reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control. 
  1. Governing Law: The competition and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Cyprus, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus.
