The event is organised by the “Keep our Sand and Sea Plastic Free’ project to celebrate the launch of Phase II with an extension to Larnaca, Limassol and Paphos. The project is part of TUI Care Foundation’s Destination Zero Waste Programme, and is implemented in partnership with the Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative (CSTI). It seeks new ways to reduce and reuse waste which create jobs and promote a circular economy in Cyprus. The event is organised with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, the Municipality of Pafos, the Pafos Regional Board of Tourism and PASYXE Pafos.
We are honoured that 2 TUI Care Foundation representatives will be joining us for the event: Nicolaas Willem Visser, Secretary of the Board of Trustees & Manuel Ferreira, Programmes Manager.
The ‘Keep Our Sand and Sea Plastic Free – Destination Zero Plastic in Cyprus’ Project will be presented by the Project Manager, Panagiota Koutsofta, during the event.
The project’s animation video and the photo exhibition will also be on display.
